If you are a restaurant manager working in the food service industry and need your Food Protection Manager Certification, you have come to the right place! We offer the simplest way to schedule your training and exam, and receive your ServSafe® Food Protection Manager Certification.
Learn about foodborne illness, how to prevent it and how to train employees in food sanitation. Earn nationally accredited food safety certification from the National Restaurant Association (NRA).
The ServSafe program delivers much more than training. It combines critical information, exclusive tools, and real world resources to transform knowledge into action.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) estimates roughly one out of six Americans (that’s 48 million people) get sick, 128,000 are hospitalized, and 3,000 die from foodborne diseases each year.
The Food and Drug Administration estimates that about two to three percent of all food poisoning cases lead to secondary long-term illness such as arthritis, kidney failure, meningitis and Guillain-Barré syndrome.
There are 31 pathogens known to cause foodborne illness. While it’s common to assume that you got sick after eating your last meal, you could be showing symptoms from something you ate five weeks ago.
The National Restaurant Association’s ServSafe Food Safety training program is widely recognized and respected in the foodservice industry. Here’s why.
